How To Get Rid Of The Metal Taste Of Tomato

This Saturday 23 October 4th Parade was held Alebrijes Monumental. Crafts School participated in that event with a alebrije prepared by students from the workshops of stamping, ceramics and metals, the organization of Adrián Martínez Aguilar, coordinator of cultural diffusion from the school shop teacher and sponsorship Enamels school and the INBA.

The theme of the parade was the Bicentennial of Independence and Centennial of the Mexican Revolution, so he had to refer to as "alebrijes" of such historical events or characters. Our alebrije was called "Freedom" and was taken as given to the Angel of Independence.

were almost 2 months of hard work from sleepless nights, hunger and fatigue, which ultimately valuable certainly well worth it.

We awarded an Honorable Mention as one of the best alebrijes among the 200 who participated. We know it does not compare to the first place, even so we are proud of our work and we're ready for next year, ready again to fight for first place and above all deliver quality work.

Personally, a unique experience that I yearn to repeat.

The alebrije remain displayed until the 7th of November, on Avenida Reforma, between the Angel and Diana. The number is 198.
