9th. NATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL STREET

CONTEST

-PUBLIC ART-

The Municipality of Mina Clavero - Córdoba, calls for the 9th. National Street Arts Festival to encourage creativity and promoting culture. It is a national and international.

Free participation.

1) may participate Argentine and foreign artists over 18 years.


2) The works are Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Digital Art, Mixed Media.

3) The topics and techniques are free. The works shall be carried out on cloth (canvas or canvas ready to withstand the weather).

4) The measures are based 0.70 cm by 1.20 m in height, without chassis (standard). At the upper end will be a 5-cm hem. (To pass the rope to be hung). The hem stitching should be strong (in my line or strong thread.) The bottom end does not need to hem and how is up to the artist (straight, slanted, Peak, etc..) Ex:


The banners must be painted in white back then varnished on both sides to withstand bad weather (rain, winds, etc.)..


5) On the back of each piece should be placed complete information about the artist: artist name, work name, address, zip code, telephone and e-mail (before varnished).

6) The jury shall consist of no fewer than 5 people (Artists and municipal authorities).

The jury will meet on December 15, 2009 and will inform the winners by telephone.

2nd. Prize $ 600.

Traslasierra Artist Honor Award $ 600.

The jury awarded 16 mentions $ 250 ea

All selected artists will receive a certificate of participation.

8) Entries will participate in the contest to meet the conditions set forth above, will be exhibited at the Plaza San Martin Mina Clavero City during the month of January 2010 (awarded and listed and selected).
